We are recruiting for a Student to assist in our Human Resources Department, providing administrative support to the department.  This is a 10 week, 30 hour per week position available from approximately mid-June until August 31, 2018.  The hourly rate of pay is $16.61.
Minimum Qualifications are:

Must be enrolled in a post-secondary educational institution a related field of education which may include Business/Office Administration, Human Resources or legal administration
Must be returning to school in September 2018;

General Duties, include, but are not limited to:

Providing administrative duties and support to the Department;
Filing of hard copy documents;
Assisting with the recruitment process including job postings on our applicant tracking system;
Scheduling interviews; preparing interview packages; completing references;
Providing support for Health and Safety, labour relations, taking minutes and preparing for approval and distribution;

Summer Student - Procurement

We are recruiting for a Student to assist in our Procurement Department to update vehicle tracking software, asset management, which includes visiting our properties, affixing bar codes to inventory items; and assisting in inventory control procedures.  This is a 10 week, 30 hour per week position available from approximately mid-June until August 31, 2018.  The hourly rate of pay is $16.61.
Minimum Qualifications are:

Must be enrolled in a post-secondary educational institution a related field of education which may include supply chain management; purchasing certificate or business/office administration;
Must be returning to school in September 2018;

General Duties, include, but are not limited to:

Uploading vehicle maintenance records into vehicle tracking software;
Affixing bar codes to inventory items and inputting asset information into the asset management system;
Sourcing and purchasing products as required by program areas;
Performing inventory counts and auditing asset condition and location;

Minimum Qualifications are:

Must be enrolled in a post-secondary educational institution a related field of education which may include related trades, i.e. carpentry, cabinet making, engineering or property maintenance/facilities management;
Must be returning to school in September 2018;

General Duties, include, but are not limited to:

Assisting our staff in completing repairs to our properties/buildings, including repair of faucets; drywall patching, repairing loose handrails, cupboard doors; gate latches;
Complete BBQ inspections and assembling new BBQ's;
Setting up and taking down seasonal lawn furniture and canopies;
Moving furniture and furniture assembly;

Scheduling and maintaining meeting space requirements;
Maintaining onsite records storage by co-ordinating the retrieval, culling and destruction of records according to legislation and privacy;

We are recruiting for a full-time permanent Continuous Quality Improvement Systems and Information Management Supervisor. This position provides support to the CQI department to maintain Agency accreditation and Ministry compliance status. Coordinating agency systems to ensure quality personalized supports are in place for individuals and families creating an environment that fosters continuous quality improvement. Providing supervision and guidance to the Central Records and CQI departments and acting as the Privacy Officer for the Agency. The starting rate of pay for this position is $29.64 per hour plus an extensive benefit plan.
Minimum requirements of this position include: 

Degree or College Diploma with an emphasis in database administration and information management, or an equivalent knowledge and education as deemed acceptable by the Agency; 
4 to 5 years full-time relevant experience with information management, database and records administration; advanced computer skills and knowledge is required. Knowledge of The Council on Quality and Leadership values and principles. Supervisory experience is considered and asset; 


Excellent written and verbal communication, independence, organizational skills, problem solving and knowledge of information privacy laws and all applicable legislations;

Duties and responsibilities (including, but not limited to): 

Assisting with the completion and follow up of internal agency quality reviews;
Assisting with maintaining the Basic Assurances monitoring system; this would include but is not limited to Rights restrictions, Reliability Interviews , Internal compliance reviews and various audits;
Overseeing the Passport spending process;
Acting as an educator and resource in assisting program staff in the use and understanding of the Agency Data Base Systems (AIMS/PPM) and other quality measures; 
Managing and maintaining the integrity of the front end user portion of database systems and data requirements across all program areas ( AIMS/PPM); 
Working closely with the Database Administrator to ensure back end structure is designed and maintained in congruence with the needs of the program legislation and standards;
Acting as an expert on the Automated Information Management system and ensuring effective system training of new employees in the Central Records department;
Coordinating internal and external access for requests to view person supported and provider records;
Ensuring files for individual's supported and providers are current, accurate, accessible, and that confidentiality is maintained;
Ensuring that Central Records processes are current and developed to meet changing needs of the Agency;
Providing Supervision and guidance to the Central Records staff and the Continuous Quality Improvement Department; 
Acting as the Privacy Officer for the Agency, and ensuring the implementation and compliance to privacy policies and standards of practices as required;
Valid driver's license and own reliable transportation is required;
