Christmas Wishes Comes True
Aztech Communications, located at 506 Bayfield St., Barrie, is celebrating this holiday season of good will and joyful giving by adopting the Grandparents, Parenting Again Support Group in Barrie. This group is comprised of grandparents who have the sole responsibility of raising their grandchildren. This group is affiliated with the Ontario Early Years Centre. The joys and challenges facing these families are numerous.
Aztech Communications became acquainted with the Grandparents group through a mutual friend in the community. Upon hearing of the realities facing grandparents raising grandchildren and the constant challenges and limited resources available to them, Aztech Communications decided to “adopt” the 15 families and share the joys of Christmas. As a community business that has enjoyed tremendous community support, Atech Communications, its staff, business associates and friends, have joined together with their families to make a difference in the lives of families in their community.
Each grand-family will receive a gift card to Zehrs, Wal-Mart and Wee Care Home Health Care Services as well as specially selected toys for the grandchildren. The Aztech Communications family, in their generosity, has acknowledged the Grandparents hard work and sacrifices made for their grandchildren. The 15 adopted families will have a Christmas filled with the joys of giving as their Christmas wishes come true.
