Simcoe Community Services is on the constant look out for volunteers in a variety of capacities within the agency. 

 

Individuals to help make a difference in the life of an adult who has an intellectual disability - we have openings in Barrie, Orillia and Shanty Bay:

  • according to the volunteer’s availability;
  • an individual and location that is geographically accessible to the volunteer.

Occasional volunteer drivers are needed!

  • need a clean driving abstract;
  • $1,000,000 liability insurance;
  • get paid mileage.

Volunteer opportunities exist at our Ontario Early Years Centres two locations:

  • Barrie – main site is located at Victoria Village – call Stephanie Rowbotham at 792-7878 ext. 228 for more details;

Peers for youth programs:

  • Our weekly youth programs run Wednesdays in Barrie (Wednesday Evening Bash) and Thursdays in Orillia (GET OUT - Orillia Ultimate Thursday) – Call 727-1234 ext. 236 or 327-5391 ext. 266 for more information.
