Requirements:
Individuals must be 18 years of age or older. Must provide own transportation to service. Must apply to the Intake Committee.
Alternative activities are provided within the Community Support Services Program for individuals who are unable to obtain paid or volunteer placements. Natural supports are used wherever possible. Community Support Services provides day options and supports to adults living in Barrie Orillia area. The training areas with Community Support Services are the Green Team, Job Skills Development and Personal Growth & Development training courses. Other program components include: Mobility/Therapy Supports; Snoezelen Room; Computer Room; Virtual Reality; Community Volunteer Opportunities; and Leisure Activities.
