Volunteer Celebration

by Dena Wilson | Oct 19, 2015
Celebrating the Volunteers of Simcoe Community Services!

On Thursday October 15th, Simcoe Community Services was pleased to honour its many volunteers with a Celebration Event at 40 Fraser Court.  One of the highlights of the afternoon was the unveiling of a new tulip tree, planted in honour of the dedicated, faithful and unwavering support of Simcoe Community Services volunteers.

According to Simcoe Community Services President David Barber, “Every day, in every way, Simcoe Community Services is made stronger by the invaluable work of our volunteers. The joy and happiness they bring to children in our Early Years Program and the support and encouragement they bring to youth and adults in our Day Programs and extracurricular activities make all the difference in the lives of vulnerable people.  Our volunteers truly are the bright lights in the day of every life they touch.”
